I'm Blake — here’s a little about me and what brings me light.
My guiding light is helping people realize they are not alone. Connecting people and building community makes me feel alive.
I have a Masters in Public Health from the Yale School of Public Health, with a focus on the crisis of connection we humans are facing. I am now building a new way to connect with people navigating loss. If you’d like to check out Same Boat, visit us at samebo.at (it’s a work in progress!) You can follow my journey of building it on my Substack here!
Vulnerability is my super power, and for the last four years, I’ve used that power to connect young grieving women in New York with the Dinner Party.
In the spirit of vulnerability, in the first year or two after my mom died, I wrote a personal essay about the grief I was experiencing, which you can read here, and I, cathartically, did some stand-up comedy about my grief and my mom, which you can watch here!
You can find more ways to connect with me here.
Anyway, welcome!
